(International Personnel Certification, IPC).

    EXTRACTS FROM RESEARCH

CHAPTER 11. RUSSIAN PRODUCTION OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES

During four recent years both decline and growth of production of liqueurs and spirits are observed in Russia. In 2010 volume of production of liqueurs and spirits reduced by **%. In 2012 production volumes increased by 13%. However sharper reduction for the period stated is expected in 2013 - approximately by **%.

Share of production of vodka in general structure of liqueurs and spirits production for 2009 – October 2013 exceeds share of liqueurs and spirits with alcohol content. Share of production of vodka does not decline lower than 80%. In 2010 share of vodka production increased significantly, then until October 2013 proportion of production of vodka and liqueurs and spirits remain the same.

CHAPTER 14. RUSSIAN IMPORT OF ALCOHOL  BEVERAGES

Volumes of Russian import of vodka and liqueurs and spirits showed reduction by 16% in 2009, that was due to the global crisis, which resulted in that more expensive imported liqueurs and spirits became less available for consumers.

Three fourth of Russian import of beer is delivered from  ***, **% of import – from Czech Republic , 5,7% - from Germany. All other countries constitute about one eighth of the import.

CHAPTER 15. PRODUCERS' PRICES FOR ALCOHOL PRODUCTS IN RUSSIA

Russian alcohol branch is regulated toughly by the government – by the Law “On the State Regulation of the Market of Alcohol” (171 - FZ) in particularly.

Russian market is characterized by increase of average retail price fir vodka. Thus, for 2009 – 2013 average consumers' prices for standard quality vodka increase almost two times - by 194 rub/l. This is due to peculiarities of  the state regulation.
